Reiki
Reiki is a form of alternative healing therapy. The word "Reiki" is derived from the Japanese words "rei," which means universal life, and "ki," which means energy. In a Reiki session, a practitioner channels energy into their client by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
During a Reiki session, I will place my hands lightly on or just above your body, focusing on specific energy centers called chakras. I act as a conduit for the universal life energy, allowing it to flow through my hands and into your body to promote relaxation, balance, and healing.
